Goin junkin tomorrow!

My sister just bought this cute, drop leaf table. It is solid pine....painted it and distressed it! This picture doesn't do it justice. Makes a cute end table!

SOLD! I had this table in my house for years....it originally had a dark finish on it that I stripped off and left it natural looking. Recently painted it in a Bennington Gray, distressed it and put an antique glaze over it.

SOLD! Someone was throwing this table away! It was one of those ugly tables with a cherry finish on it. I stripped it and the top ended up looking great without a finish. I used furniture oil on it. Painted the base black. One of my favs!

SOLD! Round table that I found at a thrift store. Not sure what kind of wood it was, but it was really ugly. Used a Pottery Barn color called Bennington Gray and distressed it. It sold really quick.

SOLD: This is a cute, shabby chic end table painted in a cottage white with distressing. Cute! Cute! Cute! $40.00

SOLD! Here's an oak table that I found at a garage sale. The claw feet are painted in a color called Jet Black (a really dark chocolate color) and the top is painted in a Pottery Barn color called Jute. I applied an antique glaze over it. It has some flaws in the wood that give the piece character. I LOVE THIS PIECE!! $85.00

I just got a wild hair as I'm sitting in front of the tv watching American Idol.....why not start a blog to share my passion for buying junk and fixing it up? So bare with me.....I'm new at this blogging stuff and it might take me a few days to get my page set-up to the way I like it.
