Someone brought me the base to their antique table to paint it black and distress it. These are before and after pictures.

SOLD: I purchased this typical, cherry finished table and stripped it. I loved the look of the wood unfinished so I left the top and applied a protective wax to it. Painted the legs and base in a natural color called Jute and distressed it. I think it came out looking really cool!! $65

SOLD: My boyfriend found this piece for me to refinish...spent hours cleaning it up and painting it in a shabby chic blue with distressing. I think it would be soooo cute in a baby's room or put it in that spare bedroom that doesn't have a closet! LOVE IT!! Measures 61"h x 40"w. 19"d. $195.00

Just spent this past week at the lake.....had a GREAT time boating and floating with family and friends!  Now I am all refreshed to start working on another project.  My boyfriend gave me an old wardrobe closet that a friend gave to him and I can't wait to get started on it.  I envision this piece in a babies room.....it's going to be fantastic!  Will shoot some pics today and post them later.  Haven't come up with a price yet....need to see how much time and work it will take to get it lookin good!

SOLD: And this is the finished product! I am so proud of this piece......it came out looking gorgeous! I picture this being used as a table for two in a small apartment. Just add two, cute little white picket wooden folding chairs or maybe something eclectic like tin chairs? It measures 36" round by 30" high and the base is finished in a chic blue with distressing and an antique glaze. $175.00.

So I found this small oak pedestal table at a garage sale and the top was in pretty bad shape. I completely stripped the top and power sanded the base and legs. Cleaned it up really good with TSP Cleaner. (I love that stuff) Now it is ready to be painted.
